A single bet that combines several selections, all of which must win, in exchange for a multiplied payout.
Parlays feel cheap and pay big, which is why they are the most profitable product sportsbooks offer. Each leg carries vig, and the vig compounds: a four-leg parlay of -110 lines carries roughly 20 percent margin against the bettor, versus under 5 percent on a single bet.
Kalshi introduced parlays on its sports contracts in 2026 and they quickly became the bulk of its volume. The mechanics differ from a book, but the math of correlated risk and stacked costs is the same.
