Moneyline
A bet on which side wins a game outright, with odds that reflect each side's chance.
At a sportsbook a favorite at -200 means risking $200 to win $100; an underdog at +170 wins $170 on $100. The implied probabilities (66.7 and 37.0 percent) add to 103.7 percent, the vig.
A prediction market lists the same game as two Yes/No contracts or one binary market. A team at 64 cents is a 64 percent implied chance with no margin. Converting a book's moneyline to a fair probability and comparing it with the exchange price is the core of line shopping across the two worlds.
